Details of Experience:

Mr. Zackery came into our Jupiter Community on June 16, 2023. He was greeted by the receptionist, Jennifer, when he arrived and met with the Admitting Nurse and the CNA who would be taking care of him that evening.

The following day, Mr. Zackery met with the Concierge, Diva. Our concierge explained the role to the patient and how it would support him. He was very impressed that they had someone like that in the community. He stated that all the staff are very nice and kind. During our conversation, he indicated he was having hip pain. This information was immediately shared with nursing who provided pain relief for the patient. Debbie from Physical Therapy and Colleen from Occupational Therapy then visited with the patient.

The patient shared that he was originally from Atlanta, Georgia. The reason he came to this area of Florida was because there was a particular surgeon that he wanted to see. He heard many great things about Dr. Stephan Quinnan, who is associated with St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach. Mr. Zackery is very pleased with the surgeon and his skill.

As each day passed, he was getting stronger with every step. He began with a roller walker. He noticed that he was getting stronger and his steps more secure. Nearing the end of his stay, the patient began using a Rollator.

He was very happy with all the care and therapy he received here at Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He said he would recommend our community to everyone. We thank Mr. Zackery for choosing us for his Nursing and Rehabilitation Services. He was discharged on June 30, 2023, with Physical, Occupational, and Nursing services. He will remain in Palm Beach Gardens until he can return to Georgia.
